BYU Figure Drawing Class

So, I was going through my many art pads from college, and came across my work in my favorite art class, Figure Drawing. I absolutely LOVED THIS CLASS! Even if it was from 7pm-10pm. Unfortunately, I missed MANY days in class, which as a result my final drawings were not as good as I know they could have been, and I was about average in my class. Had I put in more dedication and hard work, I absolutely know withouth a single doubt I would have been at the top of my class. The lack of attention in this class is my biggest regret so far when I look back at BYU. I know I could have been so much better. So that goes to show, you HAVE to give it your all in EVERYTHING you do, if not, you'll end up average. A drawing that no one will remember.

Every time I look through my work, I kick myself in the butt knowing the potential I had. UGH! haha I wish I could go back. But, here are the selected pieces to show my HUGE progression and improvement in this class. HUGE change (:

Very first drawing without any instruction

Bare with me, I know this is an awkward angle

Adi

So Jake and I finally gave in. We headed to Cabela's and bought ourselves a little chocolate lab puppy. Her name is Adi, right now she is 7 weeks old. She's been a lot of fun. Even though she pees ALOT, we still love her to death! She's so adorable and we're so excited for our new adventure with her (: (: (:

We took her to a park up against the beach.

haha, totally worn out. She sleeps ALOT.

Seattle! Again

We take a few trips to Seattle, so here are some pics of our Journey (: We basically just walk around looking at the cool little places. We went to a big mall and then to the movies to watch Dead Bodies which by the way I HIGHLY recommend  haha it was really good. However, our night ended with a break in and Jake having his army bag stolen. Fortunately there was nothing in it! So all we had to pay for was the window thank goodness there was no more damage or loss! But, other than that, it was a great trip!

The Seattle Library was really cool, awesome architecture, and each floor was interesting. There is art, and a Red Level, and the escalators were a bright neon green, the elevator was yellow on the inside. Just a cool building.

We took a peek at a cool looking little bar. Pretty fancy!

AWESOME PARK!

On our way to the movie!

Best Chowder I have EVER had! Seriously, this stuff was freaking amazing!

The dreaded parking lot.....we will never park in open public parking again

Finally, home sweet home!
