Hiking
So Jake and I came up with a few New Years resolutions, and one of them is to get out and take advantage of the beautiful state we're living in and find some amazing places to camp, go hiking, explore, and just enjoy for the next year. So Day One, January 1, 2013 we took the challenge on. After some internet searching, we found a destination that looked pretty decent. Rattlesnake Lake. So, here is the BEAUTIFUL lake we found! It was WAY too cold to hit the trail we were planning on before, so it's taken a raincheck for another day. When we are more prepared we'll hit that trail.
The Mountain behind Jake is the hike we skipped out on today. We're freaking excited to take it on though, the view is going to be AMAZING when we get to the top!

Here is a small little town nearby. Sweet Mountain in the background. And of course we had to stop and try their Mexican restaurant, Los Cabos! It was an amazing warm retreat from the nose numbing cold air outside!
NEVER get sick of those delicious enchiladas! We both stuck to them this time, and they were seriously some of the best we've had in a very long time (: thumbs up to Los Cabos!
Overall it was a very enjoyable/relaxing day we had. A nice break from work and from the busy world around us. Can't wait for the next one!
